Paul Merriman is founder and president of Merriman Berkman Next, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm. He is also the Publisher and Editor of FundAdvice.com, a newsletter and hotline service dedicated to investing in no-load mutual funds. Paul also hosts "Sound Investing" a weekly radio broadcast and webcast show which provides investors clear and unbiased information on stocks, mutual funds and other money issues. Paul is also a regular retirement and mutual fund article contributor at MarketWatch.com.

Paul Merriman is the author of Live It Up Without Outliving Your Money! 10 Steps To A Perfect Retirement Portfolio. He has been widely quoted in many national publications including, Money, U.S. News and World Report, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, USA Today, Barron's, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily and Forbes.

Paul has been a special guest on a number of national television shows including PBS' "Wall Street Week" with Louis Rukeyser, PBS' "Nightly Business News" with Paul Kangas, plus many financial talk shows on CNBC and CNNfn. Paul has produced four investing videos including his brand new DVD "Successful Investing in Turbulent Times".

Recently, Paul received a distinguished alumni award from Western Washington University's School of Economics. He has also produced four investing videos. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Global HELP.
